Gloomy Day

Falling Raindrops

Today is another gloomy day,

The cloud turns to grey,

Rain pours all day,

The sun can’t spreads its ray,

I sit, watch and pray,

For this darkness to go away,

My friends all would say,

Come let’s go, just stop the play,

Don’t they know that I need to stay?

Depressed and saddened as I lay,

As if I would be slay,

People run to the car bay,

To get in the car, to be on their way,

Away from this garish day,

Am I here as a prey?

I don’t know that’s all I got to say,

I will wait here for a brighter day,

To come tomorrow and I know,

Someway and somehow it will make its way.
